Ross Tennenbaum has been appointed as the new CFO and previously served as president at Avalara, a tax compliance company.
Despite the leadership change, Dropbox has reaffirmed its financial expectations for the fourth quarter and for 2025, maintaining alignment with previously shared guidance.

On Wednesday, Dropbox (DBX) announced that Chief Financial Officer Timothy Regan has resigned, effective December 16, and that Ross Tennenbaum will take over the role. Regan has been with Dropbox for over five years, and he has decided to step down to explore new career opportunities.
Ross Tennenbaum previously held the position of president at Avalara, a company specializing in tax compliance and related services, from April 2024 until December 2025.
In addition to the leadership changes, Dropbox indicated that its financial expectations for the fourth quarter and for 2025 remain aligned with or above the guidance previously shared on November 6.
