Trump demands Microsoft fire its president of global affairs over national security issues
Donald Trump has demanded the termination of Lisa Monaco, Microsoft's President of Global Affairs, declaring her a threat to U.S. national security due to her previous government roles and access to sensitive information.
In his criticism, Trump alleges Monaco is connected to various conspiracies involving Russian interference and the January 6th events, claiming her appointment poses unacceptable risks given Microsoft's government contracts.
Trump noted that Monaco has lost her federal security clearances and access to federal properties, reinforcing his position that she should be removed from her role at Microsoft immediately.
Recommendation Rating: Urgent Action Required
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called for the termination of Lisa Monaco, Microsoft's President of Global Affairs, labeling her a "menace to U.S. national security."
Monaco, who assumed her role at Microsoft in June, previously held significant positions including Deputy Attorney General under President Biden and Homeland Security Advisor during President Obama’s tenure.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his outrage over Monaco's appointment, stating, "Monaco has been shockingly hired in a very senior role with access to highly sensitive information. Her access is unacceptable and must not be permitted. She poses a danger to U.S. national security, especially considering Microsoft's substantial contracts with the government."
Trump further alleged that Monaco is linked to various "deep state conspiracies," including claims regarding Russian interference, the events surrounding January 6th, the raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Biden 'Autopen' scandal, and what he described as the "Documents Witch Hunt."
He also noted that Monaco has reportedly lost all federal security clearances and has been barred from accessing federal properties. Trump insisted, "In my opinion, Microsoft should immediately terminate Lisa Monaco's employment."
Earlier this year, the Trump Administration revoked security clearances for several individuals, including Monaco, Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, and a host of other prominent figures associated with President Biden and his administration.
